サイバートラスト株式会社が提供するRHEL互換でライセンスフリーのMIRACLE LINUXは、2026年07月15日マイナーバージョンアップのMIRACLE LINUX 9.8をリリースされましたが、新規インストール用のイメージファイルではなくUpdate Collectionであり、旧MIRACLE LINUX 9.xをアップグレードするためのISOファイルです。
今回はこのMIRACLE LINUX 9.8 Update Collectionを利用してMIRACLE LINUX 9.6を9.8にアップグレードします。
1.現在のOSバージョン確認

2.MIRACLE LINUX 9.8 Update Collectionのダウンロード
今回は/tmpにダウンロードします
# cd /tmp
# wget https://repo.dist.miraclelinux.net/miraclelinux/9.8-released/isos/x86_64/MIRACLELINUX-9.8-rtm-x86_64.iso
3.ISO イメージのマウントポイントディレクトリ「/media/cdrom」を作成
# mkdir -p /media/cdrom
4.ISO イメージファイルをマウント
# mount -o loop MIRACLELINUX-9.8-rtm-x86_64.iso /media/cdrom
5.MILACLE LINUX9.8 GPG keyをダウンロードしてインストール
# wget https://repo.dist.miraclelinux.net/miraclelinux/9.8-released/RPM-GPG-KEY
# rpm --import RPM-GPG-KEY
6.アップデート
コマンドラインで以下のように実行
# dnf --disablerepo=\* --repofrompath=InstallMedia-BaseOS,file:///media/cdrom/BaseOS --repofrompath=InstallMedia-AppStream,file:///media/cdrom/AppStream check-update
